And now, another Fact of Congress

Ever heard a rumor that was too strange to believe?

To find out the truth, you go to the source, right? There are lots of textbooks and articles written about Congress, but they don’t provide the complete picture.

Here’s a thought—read the Constitution! That will give you an idea of what the founders thought Congress’s role in our government should be.

For even more insight, you could read the letters of some of those founders, like Jefferson and Madison, as they struggled with getting just the right balance of powers between Congress and the President.

So, go beyond the text books to the source—or in this case the sources—You’ll get a depth of understanding about Congress that can’t be experienced any other way!
