Voting is the easiest way to participate in our democracy.
You just go to the voting booth, and check off the best person for the job.
Now some people are voting scrooges. They think their vote doesn't matter.
But if you take a look at history, it tells a different story.
In 1845, one vote made Texas part of the United States.
In 1920, one vote gave women the right to vote.
And in 2000, the presidency of the United States was won by 537 votes out of almost 6 million cast in the state of Florida
That's closer that a buzzer-beater basket!
That's closer than making the school bus!
If you don't vote, you have no say in what happens to our country.
And that's another Fact of Congress
